Once you installed Paint System. Navigate to the Side Panel and click on Paint System.

If you don’t see the Side Panel press N in the 3D view to toggle the Side Panel.

Note: If Paint System does not detect any active or selected object, Paint System will hide itself to prevent users from adding Paint System to non-existent object.

Templates

Choose how Paint System is added to your Object.

• Standard (Default Template)

  • Replace existing material with Paint System standard setup, and add a Solid Color and a Image Layer.

  This is the most basic template to get your started painting your object!

  </aside>

  

• Convert Existing Material

  • Modifies existing material and add Paint System on top. This will allow you to paint on top of your material. (The node boxed in red is your existing material / Can be anything)

  

• Transparent

  • Similar to Standard but doesn’t add any layers.

• Normals Painting

  • Replace existing material with Paint System normal painting setup.
